I finally took the plunge and upgraded the server to the Standard version. Everything went smoothly, and I was able to activate it—at last!

Thank you, even if it’s just a domain controller? I say this because Microsoft says no, and honestly, it scares you.

This should work regardless if you’ve set up a domain or not
